Return to the Top Flight
In 1979, Leverkusen won promotion back to the Bundesliga. The club has remained in the top flight ever since, becoming one of the most consistent performers in German football. Leverkusen has won the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) five times and the UEFA Europa League once.
