Israeli Woman Kidnapped During Festival Massacre Rescued After Eight Months

Four hostages were freed in a special operation in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Israel's military says.

Noa Argamani, a 25-year-old Israeli woman, was abducted by Hamas during the Reim music festival massacre on October 7, 2023. She was one of eight hostages who were held captive for eight months.

On Friday, Israel's military launched a special operation in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Four hostages were rescued alive, including Argamani.

Hamas released a voice recording of Argamani on Friday. She said she was being treated well and that she hoped to be released soon.

The rescue of Argamani and the other hostages is a major victory for Israel. It is also a sign of the growing strength of the Israeli military.
