The New Orleans Pelicans lost to the Golden State Warriors 114-109 on April 12, 2024, at the Smoothie King Center. The loss dropped the Pelicans to 36-46 on the season, while the Warriors improved to 52-30.
Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 25 points, followed by Zion Williamson with 23 points and 10 rebounds. CJ McCollum added 20 points, and Jonas Valanciunas had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 42 points, followed by Klay Thompson with 25 points and Andrew Wiggins with 19 points. Draymond Green had 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
The Pelicans led by as many as 10 points in the first half, but the Warriors rallied to take a 54-53 lead at halftime. The Warriors extended their lead to 10 points in the third quarter, and the Pelicans never recovered.
The Pelicans will now return home to face the San Antonio Spurs on April 14th. The Warriors will next travel to face the Denver Nuggets on April 15th.
